Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken SA, Luxembourg, has a branch office in Geneva, Switzerland.
André Oscar Wallenberg founded Stockholms Enskilda Bank in Sweden in 1856 as Stockholm’s first private bank. It played a major role in the industrial development of the 1900s, both as a credit provider and in taking initiatives.
Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken was formed in 1972 after a merger with Skandinaviska Banken. Through its acquisitions of the German bank BfG and three Baltic banks, SEB has established itself as a player on the European financial stage, with the aim of creating a bank that can compete with the major international banks. SEB today has 20,000 employees spread across the world.
Private Banking has strong traditions within SEB. A total of 500 employees take care of you wherever you are. We administer nearly EUR 32 billion, and are proud that 28,000 private individuals, trusts and companies have chosen us as their bank.
