Jyske Bank (Schweiz) AG is part of the Danish Jyske Bank Group with head office in Silkeborg (Denmark). For 38 years Jyske Bank (Schweiz) has operated in Zurich, and therefore offers long-standing experience, reliability and continuity. Since its establishment, Jyske Bank (Schweiz) has mainly concentrated on investment counselling and portfolio management. All major products are offered, and the bank has access to all markets. In addition, a range of own products is offered which is constantly being widened in order to meet increased customer demands.

Jyske Bank A/S , Silkeborg/Denmark, is the second largest bank based in Denmark and the sole shareholder of Jyske Bank (Schweiz). In its current form the bank dates back to 1967. Jyske Bank A/S was established through a merger of four banks, the roots of which can be traced back as far as 1850. Meanwhile the Danish network consists of 122 branches. Altogether 4112 people are employed with the Group; 185 outside Denmark. As at 31 December 2008 the balance sheet of the Jyske Bank Group totalled DKK 236 billion or approx. CHF 46 billion. The share capital is held by more than 250,000 shareholders. Total shareholders’ equity was DKK 10'722 million or approx. CHF 2'120 million. The net profit for the year 2008 was DKK 988 million or approx. CHF 195 million.
